"I really wanted to like these…"
I really wanted to like these, but... the color just didn’t come out the way I expected. The shades looked so much brighter online, and then on paper they felt kind of flat and muted. I tried using different pressure and even different types of paper, but it still didn’t improve much. i expected more from Castle Arts. I don’t think I’d buy them again.

"I got these for my sketching stuff..."
I got these for my sketching stuff, and they sharpen better than I thought they would. The tips usually come out nice and clean, and I haven’t had much trouble with them breaking. A couple pencils were kinda stubborn, but it wasn’t a big deal. For everyday use, they do the job just fine.

"Decent at First, But I’m Not Sold"
At first I was like, okay, this isn’t bad for the price. The quality is fine and it does the job. But the more I think about it, the less impressed I am. It’s okay, sure, but I wouldn’t call it amazing value

"My order showed up later than I expected…"
My order showed up later than I expected, and one of the pencils was cracked when it arrived. The colors themselves are nice, so that part was fine, but getting help from support took forever. When they finally replied, it kind of felt like they were putting the blame on me instead of just helping fix it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience...

"Am I the only one who thought..."
Am I the only one who thought the instructions could’ve been a lot clearer? The videos felt kind of rushed, and the booklet seemed to skip over a few steps. If you’re a beginner, it’s definitely not the easiest thing to follow

"Not comfortable for longer drawing"
I really wanted to like these pencils, but I just don’t find them comfortable. After only a little while, my hand starts to hurt, and they feel kind of awkward to hold. I kept trying to get used to them, but they still felt uncomfortable, uncomfortable, uncomfortable every time I used them.
They might be okay for a quick sketch or something short, but for longer drawing sessions they get annoying fast. I didn’t feel relaxed using them at all, and my hand kept bothering me. the comfort just isn’t there for me, so I wouldn’t buy them again.

"Checkout was a mess"
The site kept freezing on me, and uh, checkout failed twice before I finally gave up. Really frustrating experience.

"Colors were pretty much spot on"
I’m really happy with these. The colors look almost exactly like the pictures, which doesn’t always happen, and they came out nice on paper too. I was kind of expecting at least one shade to be weird or dull, but nope, they all looked good. Anyway, I’d definitely buy them again

I’m new to this, i found it easy enough to follow without feeling overwhelmed. The tone felt approachable and not overly technical, which made a big difference for me. Overall, I’d say it was helpful

"Surprisingly okay for work sketches"
I used these for a few client sketches they did the job without any problems. I wasn’t expecting much, but they were good enough for what I needed.

"My simple packaging request was ignored"
I specifically needed this to arrive in decent shape, and somehow that basic request was ignored. The box showed up completely smashed, the packaging was really poor, and a few things inside were damaged. Frustrating, honestly. I’m not happy with how this was handled.

"I originally went on Castle Arts just looking…"
I originally went on Castle Arts just looking for colored pencils, but ended up browsing a bunch of other stuff too. They’ve got sketch sets, paints, markers, and some bigger pencil sets, so it was easy to compare everything in one place. A few things I wanted weren’t in stock, which was a bit annoying, but overall the range is really good. Definitely handy if you like trying different art supplies without having to search around loads of different sites.

"Not great for gifting"
I probably should’ve looked more closely at the packaging before ordering, but this really didn’t feel like a good gift. The box looked kind of cheap and messy, and I didn’t have time to repackage it nicely, so it was a bit disappointing.

"A bit frustrating to use"
The site felt clunky and confusing to me. I was just trying to get through it quickly while drinking my coffee, and I kept clicking around like, wait, where am I supposed to go now? Maybe it’s fine once you get used to it, but my first impression was that it could definitely be smoother.

"Smooth delivery experience"
I ordered from castlearts and the whole shipping process was straightforward. The tracking details came through quickly, and the parcel arrived on time without me having to chase anything up. The box was in good condition too. Nothing really to complain about, though I wouldn’t say there was anything especially standout, just a smooth, hassle-free delivery overall.

"Really Easy to Deal With"
I had a small issue with my order and thought it was going to turn into a hassle, but they got back to me really quickly and sorted it out without much back and forth. I really appreciated not having to chase them over and over. In the end, I’m happy with how it all turned out.

"Wish I’d Read the Reviews First"
The colors looked really nice at first, so I was hopeful, but I ended up disappointed. The leads kept snapping while I was using them, and a few of the pencils felt dry and scratchy. For the price, I expected better. i wish I’d read the reviews first before buying

"Good customer service and an easy fix"
I had a small issue with my order so I emailed customer service, and they got back to me quickly, explained what was going on, kept me updated along the way, and fixed it without turning it into some huge hassle, which I really appreciated. It did take one extra day longer than I was hoping, but the person I dealt with was friendly and helpful, so overall I’m happy with how everything was handled...

"Holding up well so far"
Been using these Castle Arts pencils for a few weeks now, they’ve held up better than expected. Haven’t had too many tips snapping, and the case is still in good shape even after being tossed around in my bag. Some colors do feel a little softer than others, but overall, durable for the price. Would buy again.

"Decent Colors, But a Bit Inconsistent"
The colors blend well overall, but a few of the pencils feel a little patchy and I had to press harder than I expected to get good coverage. They’re not bad, but they don’t feel as smooth as I was hoping. I’m mostly okay with them, just a little disappointed.
